Spanish Parliament Seeks to Make 2006 Year of Historical Memory

(EFE).- The parties in the lower house of the Spanish Parliament, with the exception of the opposition conservative Popular Party, or PP, approved a bill Thursday declaring 2006 a Year of Historical Memory and called on the government to issue, within a month, its report on the victims of the Spanish Civil War and Francisco Franco's long dictatorship.
