Bbva Buys Two Texan Banks

The Spanish bank BBVA has bought two Ameriacan banks the Texas Regional and State National for 2,092 millions of euros.

Historically Spanish banks have previosly failed in the American market. With the acquisition of these banks BBVA has tripled its stake in Texas and now is the primary regional bank in that state.
