87.44% Approves of Andalusian Reforms

87.44 percent of the Andalusian electorate have approves the reforms of the statute governing the autonomous community. In the referendum this Sunday those that crossed their ballot papers in favour were 99.13% those who entered a no vote 9.49% and the other three percent were spoilt.

The participating was relatively high at 36% with the abstention of 63.7%. The new statute was therefore approved by almost 88% of the populace.

The areas with the greatest participation were Jean (North of Granada) Cordoba and Seville followed by Malaga, Almeria, and Cadiz.
