Chaos and Nieto

UnRated: Click here to rateClick here to rateClick here to rateClick here to rateClick here to rate

The hypocrisy surrounding the release of Juana Chaos appears to be on both sides.

Rajoy, the opposition leader has accused Zapatero, first minister of allowing a terrorist free.

"Hypocrisy"

Zapatero in turn has turned to history and suggested that Rajoy's own party had been doing the same before he (Zapatero) came to power.

Both scenarios may be true.

However what a previous government did or did not do is little indication of what it might do today. Rajoy is not Aznar. Juana is not Estaban Nieto who was released in the time of Aznar. Time has moved forward.

This is a distracting tactic. Zapatero should concentrate on what is good for the people of Spain now rather than trying to score political points.
